Caroline Parker, a supermarket check-out girl from the town has her world turned upside down when she meets the mysterious time traveller known as the Doctor.
Eventually she finds herself following the Doctor as he attempts to uncover the mystery of the ghostly figures known as the Apparites - a mystery that has gone on, unknown to the towns residents, for centuries...
